Epworth's Senior is Reverend Pat Miller. She began her career path as a registered nurse working in intensive care and the emergency room. She continued the journey from nursing to psychology, graduating from Ohio Northern with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Then the path led to The Methodist Theological School in Ohio where she earned the Master of Divinity degree in 1987. Pat has served in full-time ministry since then. Her assignments have included both specialized ministries (adult education and pastoral care) on a large staff and also serving as the pastor in charge. She combines her training in body, mind and spirit to bring a holistic approach to ministry. Pat is married to a retired United Methodist minister, has two married daughters (one is married to a United Methodist Minister, also!), and two young granddaughters. She loves to read, especially on the cutting edge of ministry and health as well as to pay attention at environmental essay topics description. Her positive energy is contagious!
